About John Drinkwater

John Drinkwater is an independent consultant specialising in Zoom online meetings, webinars, and hybrid events. He provides expert information, training, and support to speakers, professionals, and event organisers.

Since 2019, John has hosted and supported hundreds of Zoom-powered sessions. Zoom Inc. has officially recognised him as a Zoom Community Champion, Zoom Developers MVP, and Zoom Influencer, actively contributing to Zoom’s user and developer communities. As a Zoom Developer, John has three Zoom Apps already in use—including one published on the Zoom App Marketplace—with several more currently in development.

Affectionately nicknamed “Lord Zoom” by UK Toastmasters, John earned the title for his extraordinary support during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping countless clubs and serving as Technical Director for two District 91 conferences. In recognition of his contributions, he was named District 91 Toastmaster of the Year for 2019–2020.

He is also a regular contributor to the Zoom Test Kitchen, a live weekly YouTube show where advanced users explore Zoom’s latest features and functionality. Through his Boom with Lord Zoom YouTube channel and live training sessions, he shares practical advice and in-depth Zoom strategies with a global audience.

Question 2: I’ve run webinars before — is this still for me?

Yes! If you’re tired of creating a new webinar every time or feel stuck with inconsistent results, this challenge helps you turn your best material into a repeatable, profitable system.

Question 3: Do I need to buy any software or tools?

Very little. We focus first on doing everything manually so you understand the full process. Later in the challenge, we introduce optional tools you can use to automate and speed things up. A paid copy of Zoom and an email address is enough.

Question 4: What if I miss a week or fall behind?

No problem. All sessions are recorded, and you can catch up before the next meeting. Plus, you’re welcome to repeat the challenge with a future cohort — at no extra cost beyond the monthly community fee if you choose to stay.

Question 5: Is this just a course?

No — it’s a challenge. You’ll be doing, not just learning. Each week you’ll build something real: your topic, your script, your promo, your delivery. And you’ll get live feedback and group support as you go. If you don't want to take the effort, then don't join us.

Question 6: What happens after the 6 weeks?

You can continue inside the Lord Zoom community for just £27/month, where you’ll get support, replays, accountability, and the chance to join future challenge rounds.

Question 7: What if no one shows up to my first webinar?

That’s okay — seriously. The point is to build the system and practice the process. Showing up before your audience arrives is how you win in the long term. Setting with the intention of repeating the event takes the pressure off that first time.
